My company uses a label making software called Labelview, from Teklynx. I can't say that it's my favorite product to support, but it does the trick. We have multiple versions ranging from 8.01 to 8.6. Each version and each copy came with it's own USB security dongle. We have had no issue moving these from PC to PC as need arises throughout the plant. Amati Sax Serial Numbers. However, I have one PC that has a copy installed, has the appropriate dongle, and is still coming up as a demo version.

We used Codesoft v7.1 which comes with a hardware key (USB). The application runs in demo unless it recognizes the key. It works fine in XP but does not recognize the Device in Windows 7.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled a couple different revisions of Labelview (as some versions will accept an older dongle), but to no avail. I even downloaded an old 8 basic version from Teklynx's website, but that didn't work either. So, I checked different dongles used with the same version I had installed (like I said, you can move these licenses around), and those won't work either. So, now I'm left with thinking this is a computer issue.

I called Teklynx support, but unless you are under their 3-month SMA window, you have to pay for support, which I am not authorized to do. Does anyone out there use Labelview? And if so, do you have similar experiences with trying to get it to work? I don't know if there are any registry keys I might need to edit/delete (I looked, but didn't see anything promising).
